I am so sorry for your loss. Barbara was such a wonderful person, and I look back fondly on some of the summers spent in Kemptville, visiting the family and spending time between the kitchen and the garden with Mrs. B. Her meals were phenomenal. Your family has (unknowingly) had a passive influence on my choice of career, and I appreciate the lessons that she imparted on those vacations so very much.

I was made aware of her decline, and while I wasn’t able to visit much beyond a certain time, my thoughts go out to your family in regard to her decline and eventual passing. May she rest peacefully now.

    With my sincerest condolences,

    Jon Kolodziej
