I first met Wilf at the Kemptville Hospital at the transfusion room. He always had great stories to tell to help pass the time while we both got our transfusion. I will miss you dearly.

I first met Wilf in the 1960s when we worked together on a few landscaping jobs
He was a hard worker and said that was what he enjoyed.

I first met Wilfred in 1997 at the Coffee Shop I worked at in Halifax, NS one of his many VIA Rail trips and he quickly became a close friend of both myself and my family, with weekly phone conversations and letters right up until last week. He was truly an original and will be greatly missed.

Wilfred was an incredibly interesting man with whom I enjoyed many conversations over the past decade. I will miss our evening “fireside chats” by phone, which lasted right up until early last week. Our thoughts are with all his friends throughout Canada and England at this time.

We wish to send our condolences to the Goddard Family and friends. We first met Wilf through our dear friend Wendy. It did not take long to get to know him. He had a good sense of humor and we enjoyed the times we did get together.

Dear Wilf: Where ever you are, I’m sure you will be spreading flowers and greenery. We thank you for your many years of service at the Riverside Apartments where you took great care of the grounds and taught me how to prune the hydrangea trees. I will remember you every time I prune them in the fall. God speed you on your way. Heidi Allcott & Kevin Smyth
