Nicholas Joseph Reznick February 22, 1925 - July 29, 2020

We are sad to announce the passing of Nicholas Reznick on July 29, 2020 at the age of 95 years. Nick was born February 22, 1925 and was the last surviving member of a family of nine children. Nick enjoyed 69 years with the love of his life, wife Jeannine (Dubois) who will miss him dearly as well as his children: Linda Jolicoeur (Pierre), Debbie Vettoretti (Renso), Karen Brown (Steve), Darlene Dalton (Darcy), and Nicholas. He was very proud of his 12 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Nick was a long-serving machinist with Atomic Energy of Canada Limited, that maintained radiation therapy machines used worldwide. His retirement was filled with large family events, playing the accordion at the home he built along the Rideau River near Kemptville.
The family is thankful to the caregivers, nurses, doctors and care managers: Assisted Living Services of the J.W. MacIntosh Seniors’ Support Centre, Champlain Local Health Integration Network, Saint Elizabeth Health Care, Rideau Crossing Family Health Centre, Kemptville District Hospital, and Kemptville and District Home Support Seniors’ Community Services Meals on Wheels program who all provided utmost dedication and caring to Nick. We were blessed to have had an outstanding team assist us. A private funeral mass with Nick’s family was held on Friday, July 31 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kemptville. Online condolences may be made at www.byersfuneralhomeinc.ca.
