Your parents were always kind and friendly. RIP Mr. Bungay, hope you are reunited with Barbara, my mom, dad and Mr. Duncan. RIP 🙏🏻❤️

April 16, 2024 at 4:04 pmI am so saddened to hear this news. Gerry was our friend in his time at CGYC. We had a great relationship..and I often brought blue hydrangeas, etc., to brighten his hours at the Starter Shack. He has been faithful to write me a pleasant note at various seasonal holidays. My deepest sympathy to his family. I will say special prayers for him. Donnie Dineen

April 20, 2024 at 11:26 amSorry to hear about Gerry’s passing. He was a terrific person and great starter at Carleton for many years. I miss his booming voice announcing the next group on the tee. He had a way with members that earned him respect even though many times he had to enforce the rules of the club, Gerry knew how to do it respectfully.
On behalf of the Men’s League at Carleton our sympathies go out to his family.

April 20, 2024 at 11:49 amGreg, condolences to you and your family for your loss. Your Dad was a great friend to CGYC and brought many a smile to all, especially as the ‘Starter’ on the first tee… His embellished call with microphone in hand… “On the tee” with usually unearned accolades added, designed to embarrass the member!:)
Gerry, we’ll see you on the first tee… on our next round…

May 31, 2024 at 8:47 amDear Greg, My sincerest condolences to you and your family. Gerry was definitely one of the great ones, a true gentleman. It touched my heart, more than you will know, when he sent me a birthday wish every year. He never missed a year and I will always cherish that. He attended the caregiver group at ROSSS while he was caring for Barbara and continued to attend after she passed as he was a wealth of knowledge. We welcomed his tips and tricks and the experience that he shared with us. And the cookies and brownies and cinnamon buns were welcomed too!! Rest in Peace my friend. XOXO
