Passed away surrounded by his loving family at the Kemptville District Hospital on Thursday July 23, 2020. Donald Thorpe in his 89th year of Kemptville, and formerly of Spencerville for 53 years. Beloved husband of Donna (Connell). Loving father of Kelly (Greg) Lightle of Barrie and Sherry (Jeff) Craig of Kemptville. Special “Bumpa” to Katie Craig. Predeceased by his grandson Connel Craig. Cherished brother of Carl (Donna) of Spencerville, Betty Casselman of Maitland. Predeceased by his brother Bill (late Edna) of Brockville. Donald was a longtime employee of RCA at Prescott, ON. Special thanks to the staff at the Kemptville District Hospital for the kind and compassionate care Don received. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at the Union Cemetery, Spencerville. In lieu of flowers donations in Don’s Memory may be made to the Kemptville District Hospital Foundation.
