Ruth Douglas (Nee Fraser) October 25, 1938 - June 2, 2018

Peacefully at the Hartford Retirement Residence on Saturday June 2, 2018. Ruth Douglas age 79 of Winchester. Beloved wife of Tom Douglas. Loving mother of Linda (Sam) Hornell, Debbie (Gary) Johnson and Jody (Mike) Simzer. Cherished Nanny of Jackie, Amanda, Stacey, Justin, Scott, Tyler, Sam Jr., Steven and 22 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Wes (Doris) Fraser. Predeceased by her parents Les (Grace) Fraser, her brother George (Helen) Fraser and her grandson Ryan Johnson.

Ruth will rest at the Byers Funeral Home, 2990 Church Street, South Mountain (613-989-3836) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Clare’s Anglican Church, 2530 Falcon Drive, Winchester on Tuesday June 5, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment Maple Ridge Cemetery, By Ruth’s request donations may be made to the St. Clare’s Anglican Church or the Canadian Cancer Society (Breast).
