Dorothy Annie Declare (nee Baptist) April 29, 1929 - March 19, 2017

Peacefully at the Kemptville District Hospital on Sunday March 19, 2017. Dorothy Declare age 87 of Hallville. Beloved wife of the late George Declare. Loving Mom of Deborah MacLeod, Donna Windsor, Doug, Darlene (Paul) Simms, Drenna (Jim) Mernickle, and Diane Hyndman. Cherished Grandma of Tyler & Ashley Windsor; Larry & Jordan Mernickle; Courtney (Jeremy)Leger & Randy Hyndman; Shannon (Alex) & Derek Simms (Natalie) and great-granddaughter Emily. Dear sister of Beatrice(Fred) Shipley, Clarence (Marlene) Baptist, Ethel (late Jim) Whittle, Ross (late Margaret) Baptist, Jean (late Matt) Hawrychuk, late Harold (late Irene) Baptist, late Clifford (Edith) Baptist, late Kay (late Roy) Girdler, late Thelma (Don) McCoy, late Ron (late Ethel) Baptist, late Kenneth Baptist, and the late Elsie (late Carl) McLean. Aunt of many nieces and nephews.

By Dorothy’s request Cremation has taken place. A Visitation will be held at the Byers Funeral Home, 2990 Church Street, South Mountain (613-989-3836) on Saturday March 25, 2017 from 10 a.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 11:30 a.m. Spring Interment Reids Mills Cemetery.
