    So wish I was there with you all. In my heart I am. I was lucky enough not to see him going downhill, so for me he will always be the happy, funny guy that became so special to me over the years. I will miss him so much, as I am sure so many people will. He will always be part Dad, friend, and hero to me.

    Dear Marion, Dean, Dawn and families:
    Pierre, myself and Andre are very sorry to hear about Bill. I have so many great memories of him over the years when we attended family gatherings at Aunt Wilda’s and Uncle Glen’s in Chesterville. I don’t think I ever saw him without a smile on his face. He always had a story or joke to share, and was always such a positive person. We will all miss him! Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and yours. Love your cousin, Kathryn.

    Marion, Tim & Dawn – My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. I am sorry that I cannot be there to celebrate Bill’s life with you.

    I have many fond memories of visits with Bill. His stories have delighted and entertained many and I shall miss the engrossing accounts of his life’s adventures and misadventures, as only Bill could tell them!

    Recently, he expressed a keen interest in my work and travels in the north and he put my knowledge to the test with his curiosity and his questions! I felt a real kinship with his curiosity about the world. And I appreciated the interest he took in my life.

    I wish you peace and warm remembrances.

    ~Kathryn

    William James Latourell
    Bill was a brother,husband,parent,

    grandparent,and friend;

    A cousin to many, one on whom all could depend.

    He was always very kind,

    although to many a tease;

    But spending time with him

    was an opportunity to seize.

    His faithful love for family

    was especially unique,

    His face would light up

    when of them he did speak.

    At his home, all were welcome,

    during daytime or at night;

    A crowd at his kitchen table

    was a most familiar sight.

    If one ever felt lonely,

    grumpy, or even ill,

    A remarkable cure

    was a visit with Bill!

    His stories of life

    produced laughter galore…

    One would not like to leave

    without hearing more!

    May God bless his soul,

    and his family so dear;

    Those cherished memories of him,

    may you always hold near.
