William “Bill” Wesley Donaldson September 4, 1938 - July 6, 2021

Peacefully at the Dundas Manor on Tuesday July 6, 2021. Bill Donaldson age 82 of Winchester. Beloved husband and best friend for 63 years to Martha (Nee Newton). Loving Dad of Paul Donaldson, Joan (George) Holmes, Marion (Alan) McLean, Allan (Jackie), Kathryn (Barry) Patterson, Peggie Donaldson and Diane Donaldson (Jason) Laflamme. Cherished Grandpa and Papa “D” to 31 grandchildren. Dear brother of David (late Dorothy) Donaldson, Elaine (Richard)Boulay, Shirley (late Allen) Reid and Jean Lea. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and the Newton Family. By Bill’s request Cremation has taken place. A Private Family Funeral Service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in Memory of Bill to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Charity of Your Choice. Arrangements entrusted to the Byers Funeral Home, South Mountain (613-989-3836).     Bill’s time has come, so very sad & very hard to believe. The wonderful memories I have of him will be a constant reminder of his life. I have always held him dear to my heart.

    The Mackie family sends their condolences to the Donaldson family. Bill was a heck of a euchre player, and I enjoyed spending time with him. His ” French” grandson loved him very much. R.I.P. Bill.
