Peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Thursday, September 29, 2016. Shep Laporte of South Mountain age of 81. Beloved husband of Margaret Laporte nee Nelson. Adored father of David Laporte (Maureen) of Indiana and Laurie Laporte-Piticco (Steve) of South Mountain. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Caitlin Laporte, Bryce Piticco (Stacey) and Callie Piticco. Fondly remembered by great- grandchildren Gavin, Cameron, Bailey; Cee-jay and Julius. Dear brother of Hazel Lalonde of Timmins and Mike Laporte of Florida and predeceased by four siblings.

The last time I saw Shep was in Matheson for my parents (John & Jean) 50th anniversary celebration at our MacKenzie family reunion…. and we all loved to hear him sing! He will be fondly remembered!
