Suddenly at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday October 24, 2012. Rae Imrie, age 74 of Winchester. Beloved husband of Doris (Cinnamon). Loving Dad of Pat (Jackie), Bev (Reg), Kim (Shawn), and Donnie. Cherished Pop of Greg (Jennifer) Stewart, Tanya (Jon) Pringle; Ryan, Kirsten,& Sarah Milne; Hailey & Marissa Imrie; and Great- Pop of Kyle, Brooke, &Nolan Stewart; Chloe and Mya Pringle. Loving Son of Jud and the late Gladys Imrie. Dear brother of Carole Roach (late Earl),and the late Wilma. Brother-in-law of Barbara Van Breugel, Dwayne (Kathy) Cinnamon and Allan (Maureen) Cinnamon. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

October 28, 2012 at 12:00 amIn the early fifties I grew up with Rae, and beautiful Wilma, Rae’s sister, and Earl Roach, his brother-in-law. I remember Rae as a gifted skater, and all-around good guy and friend.
Almost exactly sixty years ago on Hallowe’en, Rae and Terry Simms and Gary Kirker and I were being teenagers, roaming Mountain and the neighbourhood in the dark, and tipping over backhouses.
I think that Hurricane Sandy will prevent me from driving down to Rae’s funeral but I will be there in my thoughts.
I extend my sincere condolences to Rae’s family, and especially to Carole.

It is a year scents you have left us, things are not the same. I think of you every day wishing that you were here. Just to set on the deck,or call and talk with, to get your advise on things. You were the hub of our family and now that is broken .I do know that you are with me, the kids and your great grand kids you are watching us from above
It is hard some days but you would say we have to go on, so we take one day at a time. Hope we are doing you proud dad. We are trying.
Mom misses you terribly. But again she is taking one day at a time.
