Poirier, Nancy (Nee Gagnier) April 13, 1947 - July 30, 2018

Peacefully after a brief battle with cancer at the Kemptville District Hospital on Monday July 30, 2018. Nancy Poirier age 71 of Kemptville. Beloved wife of Gerry Poirier. Loving Mom of Sylvie (Dale) Wynn and Patrick (Terri-Lynn).  Cherished Nana of Stefani, Gage (Jess) Wynn; Gabby and Lexie Poirier. Dearly loved sister of Lawrence (Butch) Jr.(Josee), Gloria Gagnier and predeceased by Ken(Jeanette) Gagnier, Joyce Gagnier and Patsy(Terry) Gibson. Fondly remembered by the Poirier Family, many nieces, nephews and friends. By Nancy’s request there will be no Visitation or Funeral Service. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.     Spent many days when i was young spending time with Sylvie at there house when i was young Nancy felt like a second mom to me Sylvie Gerry and Patrick my thoughts are with you. She was a wonderful woman and mom. We had many talks about how proud she was of all of you when we worked together at EBI

    Please accept our families condolences for your loss. We were lucky enough to find Nancy 17 years ago when she began taking care of our daughter Virginia at her home. For more than five years, she was a large part of our families life. Since this time, we would run into each other often in Kemptville and she would speak so fondly and with such pride about her family, and especially how her grandchildren were doing. Our last meeting was not that long ago; our family is deeply saddened by this shocking news and we wish your family strength and peace in this time of grief. Sharon, Wayne and Virginia Palmer.

    So sorry to hear of Nancy’s Passing. She had a heart of gold. My mom Francine worked with her at Eastern Breeders and we would run into her everywhere. My condolences to the Family.
