Peter Wilhelm Schuurmans

Peter passed away peacefully in Longfields Manor on Monday August 27, 2018. Peter Schuurmans age 88 of Ottawa. Beloved husband of Gerty (DeRoos). Loving Father of Neil Schuurmans, Bill Schuurmans(Margaret),  John Schuurmans (Kim), Anna Schuurmans (Victor Krasowski), Gertie Schuurmans and Oscar Schuurmans(Susan). Cherished Pake of Robin (Sean), Lori (Brandon), Christopher, Gregory (Emily),  Julie , Leah, Samantha and great-grandchildren Clara, Emmet, Jack, Hayley and Maya. Dear brother of  An Teering (Frits) , Gerda Bos (Jannes), Lien Schurink (Henk), Corrie Wentzel (Mark) and predeceased by Wietske Dijkstra (Linze)  and Jan Grupstra (Gre). Survived by many nieces and nephews here in Canada and the Netherlands.

Peter will rest at the First Christian Reformed Church of Kemptville, 2455 County Road #18 on Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 5 to 8 pm and Friday August 31, 2018 from 10:30 am until time of Funeral Service at 11am. By family request donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society.
