On Friday November 5, 2021. It is with profound sadness we announce our sudden loss of Michel Joseph Leopold Sauriol, age 57 of Hallville. Pre-deceased by his mother Rose-Mai Mongeon, his father André Sauriol Sr and his step-father Ernest Plante. Beloved husband of Carolyn. Loving dad to his daughters Kendra and Grace (Shaun), to his step-sons, Shaun (Laura), Christopher and Cole (Kristy) as well as his 3 grandchildren Connor, Killian, and Aries. Dearly loved by Sandra (Patrick). He is also a cherished brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend. Michel had charm, charisma and an infectious personality and always left an impression where-ever he went. To say Michel will be missed does not quite do him justice. A memorial service will be held on Sunday November 21, 2021, at the Mountain Township Agricultural Hall 2967 Lough Road, South Mountain. The family requests that registered guests arrive before 1PM to take their seats for service time. PLEASE NOTE: COVID-19 Restrictions are in-force, proof of double vaccination is required, and masks MUST be worn inside. Pre-registration is required. Please call 613-989-3836 during business hours to confirm your attendance.

I wish to offer my sincere condolences; my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. Michel (Tokyo) will surely be missed; Saturday morning breakfast at the Kemptville Restaurant won’t be the same without him. I will always remember his booming laugh, friendly demeanor and fantastic sense of humor; he was truly a great person to have around. RIP my friend. Don, Kate, Michael and Harrison.

November 10, 2021 at 9:16 pmWell, all I can say is I am dumbfounded. Mich, as he was affectionately known around Hallville, was known for that booming laugh and always with a smile on his face. Many nights filled with laughter on the back deck, bbq’s , beers in hand, daughters playing together. Doing a dance so they can show their parents what they had done. Karaoke at the local bar. Mich’s favorite song “Abracadabra”, and he sang it so well. Everyone was up and dancing. Of course, we can’t forget “All In Mich” at the neighborhood Texas Hold ‘Em games. So many fond memories. Mich you were one of a kind and will be sorrily missed. My condolences to the family, Kevin W. Kent
