Michael James “Mike” Scebenski December 15, 1961 - March 21, 2021

We are saddened to announce the unexpected loss of Mike at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute on Sunday March 21, 2021, at the age of 59. Devoted, loving father to son Clayton. Predeceased by his mother Elizabeth “Pat” (Willie Pacsay), and father Henry Scebenski. Beloved brother to Darcy, Robert, and Juanita, and Mike was a special uncle to all of his nieces and nephews. Mike is predeceased by his Aunt Mary, and survived by his uncles Jack, Mervin, and John, as well as his aunts Nettie, Frances, Diane,Lorraine and Rosie.

Mike was a remarkable friend to so many, and was a treasured friend to his Father in law Gary Garlough, as well as Mike’s companion, Tracy Armstrong. Cremation. For those wishing donations in Memory of Mike may be made to the Ottawa Heart Institute. Arrangements entrusted to the Byers Funeral Home, South Mountain (613-989-3836).     You will be greatly missed buddy. We had great times camping and fishing. Hopefully when you’re up their you can teach Kate how to catch a walleye. Untill we meet again

    The Mostowchuk girls, Violet Hrapchak, Vivian Ryma, Marie Ebbert and Evangeline Mostowchuk, send condolences to Michael’s family. Although our paths did not cross, we are sure Michael will be missed by his family and friends. He left us way to early! May he rest in peace. It’s good to know that he returned home to Hinchcliffe to be with his family at Etoimamie Cemetery.
