Peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital on Wednesday December 1, 2021. Mercedes Villegas age 53 of Ottawa. Beloved wife of the late Jose Villegas. Loving and courageous Mom of Cassandra and Sofia. Cherished daughter of Maria (Nee Murguia) and the late Osvaldo Maluf and dear sister of Teresa Maria Maluf and her son Alejandro Tovar all of Mexico City. I’m so sorry to read about the passing of your Mom. I knew her briefly through the Women@Heart Peer Support program from UOHI. She often spoke highly of you two to me on the phone to me. I wish you both well as you grieve her loss.
