Peacefully at the Woodland Villa on Thursday May 29, 2014. Lyle Barkley age 89 of Inkerman. Beloved husband of the late Annie Hess. Loving Dad of Harold (Veena) and Edna Cheney (Doug). Cherished Gramps of Lisa, Jamie (Myrna), Doug, Rob, and Lynne. Predeceased by his siblings Lester, Keith, Murray, Bruce, Evelyn York, and Ray. Uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Barkley will rest at the Byers Funeral Home, 2990 Church Street, South Mountain (613-989-3836) from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, June 2, 2014 at 1 p.m. Interment Knights Cemetery. By family request donations may be made to the Chartwell Hartford Retirement Residence.
