LAJOIE, Luc Joseph Leo,

July 18, 1952- August 30, 2014

Loving son of the late Damase and Cecile Lajoie, passed away suddenly Saturday, August 30th 2014 at the age of 62. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife and best friend, Deborah (Roach). Beloved father of and hero to Jazmine and Chloe, his pride and joy xoxo. Much loved brother of Micheline (Paul Landry), Pete (late Michelle Le Sage), Suzanne (Peter Richard), Guy (Penny Reynolds), Helene (Kirk Mandy), and the late Nicole Charron (late Andre). Devoted son-in-law of Erma and the late Loyola Roach. Cherished brother-in-law of Nancy (Gary Trupp) and Wayne (Lyne Gingras). Luc will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and family. He will forever be in our hearts.

Friends and family will be received on Saturday, September 6th 2014 from 10am – 1pm at Byers Funeral Home, 2990 Church Street, South Mountain, ON (613-989-3836). A funeral Mass will follow next door at St. Daniel’s Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made towards the House of Lazarus Food Bank or the CHEO Foundation.     My deepest sympathies to your family. Luc was a valued employee at the Library of Parliament for many years. I particularly enjoyed learning from him and supporting his efforts to modernise his functions in the years before he retired. He always talked with pride about the accomplishments of his daughters.
