My deepest condolences to Mr. Byers, Michael and family. So many great memories growing up and walking to and from school with our big Fred Street gang. Many years later we would meet up and still laugh and have a great time reminiscing. Rest in peace Laurie.

A bright light has left this World with your passing my friend. You spread kindness wherever you went. Your laugh was infectious and your smile healed others. In the years you cared for our Mother you became part of our family. We all looked forward to hearing about Bandit’s escapades along with your own. Rest easy Laurie. You will be missed. My sincere condolences to your family and friends. P.S. before Laurie’s passing she had requested my husband make her a house number sign as part of her Retirement Gift. Please reach out so I could arrange to give it to Michael.

I worked with Laurie for many years at MBNA. My heart goes out to the family. It would have been much easier if she passed due to sickness but to have her die as a result of a hit & run is hurtful. Where is the humanity in this? Rest in Eternal Peace Laurie. I have lots of wonderful memories. Her sense of humor was great. I am laughing through the tears as I write this.
