Peacefully at the Dundas Manor on Sunday June 4, 2023. June Byrd age 84 of Mountain. Beloved wife of Richard Byrd. Loving Mom of Donna(late Roger) Billings, Douglas (late Susan), Bill (Robin), and Cory (Diane). Cherished Grandma of Jason, Tanya, Andrew, Mitchell, Matthew, Kurtis, Taylar, Bailey and great-grandchildren Nathan, Sara, Austin, Kieran and Hallie. Dear sister of Mark Johnston, Virginia (late Mike) Dodds, sister-in-law of Linda Johnston and pre-deceased by her siblings Maxwell, Maynard (Joyce) and Judith. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and the Byrd Family. By June’s request Cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held at South Gower Cemetery 501 South Gower Drive, Kemptville on Saturday June 10, 2023 at 11 a.m. Donations in Memory of June may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. I was shocked and saddened to read the news of June’s passing. She will always be remembered for her wit and style. I remember evenings sipping a drink and listening to Dick and Doug play their guitars (I learned Dick could yodel!) Such fond memories. I still chuckle thinking of June’s hand gesture (after she had cooked a big meal) the dishes would magically disappear off the table and reappear in the sink ready to be washed by whoever enjoyed it. June could relax.
She will be missed. Our condolences to you and your families.

I remember her having so many hobbies and she was always so fun to be around. She was so lucky to have been living with Dick to the very end. She will be sadly missed. I was shocked at hearing her passing .There’s been so many times I’ve wanted to stop in and say hi all but one time. should have been more. Will miss her , especially giving Dick shit at making his own drinks.. Haha . My condolences to all you guys . She will be missed by all who knew her .
