Peacefully at Bayfield Retirement Home in Kemptville on Friday, March 9, 2012 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Jack Van Bruggen. Loving mother of Clara (Steve Quinn) of Osgoode and Marianne (Larry Simms) of Hallville. Proud grandmother of Alison, Greg, Brent and Shawn. Sister-in-law of Jantje Streunding of Holland, Effie Vogel (Sebe) of Winchester and predeceased by her siblings Albert and Tryntje Streunding of Holland. Will be sadly missed by nieces and nephews in Canada and in Holland.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Byers Funeral Home, 2990 Church Street, South Mountain (613-989-3836) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday March 13. Funeral Wednesday, March 14 in the Chapel for service at 11 a.m. Cremation. Inurnment Springhill Cemetery. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Bayfield Retirement for their care and support and to Dr. Leonard of Kemptville for his care over the past several years.
