Jeffrey Elmer Naphan May 13, 1960 - February 1, 2023

Surrounded by family Jeff passed at the Ottawa Civic Hospital at the age of 62.  Jeff leaves behind his loving companion Penny Ouellette, daughter Lea-Anne Naphan-Fraser (Caleb), grandchildren, Gavyn, Rylee, and Kinsley of Vermillion Alberta. Predeceased by his parents Elmer and Barbara (Loughlin), brothers Leo, William (Bill) and Christopher. Survived by sister Nancy (Charlie Carty), Doug, Carol, Mark (Laurie) and sister-in-law Barbara Naphan.  Many nieces, nephews, and cousins (all his family) and friends will sadly miss Jeff.

Jeff was born and raised in Kemptville, Ontario, following in his father and big brothers’ footsteps he became a long hauler truck driver.  Started his career running steel with his oldest brother Leo and doing snowplowing in the winter. Started Aces Taxi in Kemptville with the help of family and enjoy servicing his community.  Jeff worked for various trucking companies before joining the pipeline, which was his last place of employment.

Cremation has taken place.  A visitation will be held at the Byers Funeral Home 2990 Church Street, South Mountain (613-989-3836) on Thursday February 9, 2023 from 6:30 to 9 p.m.  Spring Interment Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.  By family request donations may be made in Memory of Jeff to the Beth Donovan Hospice.  Online condolences may be made at www.byersfuneralhome.com

    A true Teamster and friend to all those who worked on the natural gas pipelines in Ontario. Jeff was always willing to lend a helping hand to his family and co-workers at Local 91. Jeff will be missed and on behalf of Teamsters Local Union No. 91 our deepest condolences to the Naphan family.
