Jane “Sophie” Baker (Nee Campbell)

Peacefully at St. Patrick’s Home on Monday July 17, 2023. Sophie Baker in her 74^th year of Winchester. Beloved wife of Jim Baker. Loving mother of Wendy Crober (Barry), Cindy Laurin (Chad), Leigh Baker (John) and Alix Adlington (Andrew). Cherished Grandma of Marina & Madison Crober and Sloane Adlington. Dear sister of Bill Campbell (Gerri) and Howard Campbell (Nicole). Sister-in-law of Ralph Baker (Pat), Barbara Baker (Henk), Fred Baker, and Carl Baker (Marg). Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by the Laurin and Baker families. By Sophie’s request her body has been donated to the University of Ottawa-Faculty of Medicine for Scientific Research. By family request donations may be made in Memory of Sophie to the Terry Fox Foundation or St. Patrick’s Home Foundation (Activity Fund). Special Thanks to Urszula, Karen, Elena, Carlito, Ramsay-St. Pat’s Staff for their wonderful loving care over the years.
