Irene Jampen (Nee Mosimann) November 30, 1940 - March 27, 2022

It is with heavy hearts that we are saying goodbye to Irene Jampen Mosimann.  Irene passed away suddenly on March 27, 2022 at the age of 81 at her beloved home in Mountain, Ontario.  The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Irene.  She loved working in her garden, and her home was her castle.  She was quick to smile and had a zest for life in every step.

 

Irene is survived by her husband Rudolf Jampen, her children Rudolf Jr. (Eleanor Hartley); Andreas (Late Angela Daly; Late Heather Moodie); Pia (Burkhard Eibich); Stephan (Alejandra Regand-Ramirez); and Christoph.  Loving Grandmother to Alex, Cedric, Adrian, Kyleigh, Caitlin, Patrick, Riley, Natasha, Nikolas, Victoria and Daniella.  Remembered by her sisters Lilliane Mosimann; Thea Elsbeth Mosimann; Late Margareta Loeffel-Mosimann (Late Erich Loeffel); Silvia Staub-Mosimann (Christian Staub) and brother Ernst (Denise Azzaletti) of Switzerland.

 

Irene will rest at the Byers Funeral Home, South Mountain, 613-989-3836, on Wednesday March 30, 2022 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.  A private family funeral service will be held on Thursday March 31, 2022 with cremation to follow.  Those wishing to make donations in memory of Irene may do so to a charity of their choice.     Over the years we always enjoyed driving by your farm to see what projects Irene was enthusiastically engaged in to beautify her surroundings. Remember the flower boxes on the barn!
