Hendrika Vedder (nee VanGalen)

Entered into her eternal home of rest at the Bayfield Manor on Friday October 11, 2019  in her 94^th year. Daughter of Jannetje and Hendrik VanGalen . Beloved wife of the late Gerard. Loving mother of Janet (John deWinter), Grace (Peter Geertsema), Hetty (Ault VanBokhorst), Jackie (Peter Ritskes), and Elisabeth (Brian VandenBerg). Also loved by grandchildren Elizabeth (Timotheus), Joshua (Sarah), Brian (Stephanie), Philip, Krista (Michael), Faith, Rachel (Mark), Sarah (Sam), Tim, Jacob (Ashley), Michael (Jill), Katrina (Mark), Erika (Ian), and Jeremy (Melissa). Missed by 18 great- grandchildren. Survived by her sister Willy Luimes and sisters-in-law Jane Vedder, Linda VanGalen and predeceased by Teuntje, Gerrit, and Gera. Fondly remembered by the Vedder Family. A Private Family Interment at Capital Memorial Gardens. A Celebration of Hendrika’s life will be held at Kemptville Christian Reform Church 2455 County Road 18, on Tuesday October 15, 2019 at 1 p.m.  Memorial donations to the Tabitha Foundation or Christian Reformed World Renew may be made online.
