Helen Eileen McConnell (Nee Morrow) August 30, 1941 - May 6, 2025

Peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Tuesday May 6, 2025. Helen McConnell age 83 of Ottawa. Loving Mom of the late Carol, Stephen and Barbara (Denis) Desnoyers. Cherished Grandma of Ashley (Billy), Andre, Shayla (Thomas), Chantal (Lindsay), Natalie (Tim), Alacia (Tyler), Abby (Justin), Daniel (Jenna) and 11 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Myrtle (Cross) and William Morrow. Dear sister of the late Lloyd (late Gertrude), late Gordon (Phyllis), Harold (Marion), late George (late Linda), Betty (Ernie), late Raymond (late Ethel) and Mabel Jean. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the St. Timothy’s Presbyterian Church, 2400 Alta Vista Drive, Ottawa on Friday May 30, 2025 at 11 a.m. By family request donations may be made in Memory of Helen to the CNIB, Dementia Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
