Peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Thursday May 31, 2012. Heinz Winter, lifelong farmer and mechanic , age 82 of Hallville. Beloved husband of Mathilde. Loving Dad of Gisela (Pierre), Karl (Brenda), Evelyn (Larry), Sue (Carl), Rosy, Eric (Rhonda) and Ron. Cherished Opa of Jeremy, Dean (Meagan), Shelly (Jamie), Travis (Allie), Jacqueline (Chris), Paul (Kris), Jonathan, Justin, Ryan, Mallory (Matt), Holly, Kurtis, Nolan (Savannah), Hannah, Jesse and the light in Opa’s life; another generation, Fionna, Owen, Aubrey, and Tilly. Dear brother of Werner, Edith, Ericka and fondly remembered by Anna Maier, Irma Marquardt, Karl Maier all of Germany.

Heinz will rest at the Byers Funeral Home, 2990 Church Street, South Mountain (613-989-3836) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. A Funeral Service will be held at the Hallville United Church, County Rd. #43 at Church Rd. on Monday June 4, 2012 at 11 a.m. Cremation.
