Peacefully at home on Tuesday October 23, 2012. Harold Birt in his 87th year of Mountain. Beloved son of the late James Birt and Lena (nee Finley). Loving brother of Mary (late Ernie Blais) of Ottawa and the late Austin, Daniel (Hazel), and Rita (Mrs. John Albert). Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Cherished friend of Patricia Guy (Geoffrey) and their children Elizabeth, Jacob and Patrick. I believe when a man grows old and sums up his days, he should be able to stand tall and feel pride in the life he’s lived.
