Gord Shepherd December 29, 1955 - June 12, 2015

Suddenly on Friday June 12, 2015. Gord Shepherd age 59 of Long Sault. Beloved husband of Carole (Laferriere). Loving step-father of Alain and Melanie Laferriere. Proud Poppy of Faith Laferriere and Adrien Carbonnell. Dearly loved brother of Ardith (late George) Onland, Shirley (Alton) Cassidy, Murray Shepherd (Marg), Bev (Mike) Ault, Joan (Allen) Larmour,Doug Shepherd (Carol) and the late Mac. Predeceased by his parents Roy and Maude Shepherd. Loved uncle of many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Byers Funeral Home, 2990 Church Street, South Mountain (613-989-3836) on Thursday June 18, 2015 at 11 a.m. Inurnment Maple Ridge Cemetery.     I am so sorry for you loss. During the many years I have worked at WDMH I had many occasions to seek Gord’s help with whatever issue unexpectedly arose. He was great. Sometimes he just shook his head and said “nurses”. He is missed. Cindy Casselman RPN
