March 14, 2016 at 12:00 amI fondly remember Gil and the many visits he made to Tante Petra’s riding stable near Mount Hope (Hamilton). He was always ready to lend a hand and his arrival during hay & straw baling season was especially appreciated. Gil was also a gracious host when we visited him; kindly touring us around Ottawa and South Mountain. My sympathy to the Meerakker and Lavryssen families.
