Gerald Lecuyer December 12, 1934 - December 26, 2017

At the age of 83 he passed away at home on Tuesday December 26, 2017 in the loving arms of his wife Lea and his daughters Marlene, Shelley, Debbie and Christine. Gerry’s survived by his life partner, soul mate and beloved wife of 60 years Lea. Proud and loving Dad of Marlene (Greg) Casselman, Shelley (Ernie) Guillemin, Debbie (Steve) Brown, Christine (Gordie) Seaby and predeceased by his son Barry and his wife Terrie Lecuyer. Cherished Grandpa (Pa) of Kelly, Ashley, & Erika; Derek (Julie), Jennifer (Al); Jamie (Whitney), Christopher (Jessica); Matthew, Emily; Angel and great-grandchildren Alex, Sophie, Tyler, Michael and Ben. Dear brother of Bobby (Mavis) and in-laws Pat, Donna, Gert, Ann (Dick) Feasel and Tom (Daphne) Arnott. Predeceased by his parents Norman and Gertrude Lecuyer and his siblings Glenna, Gordon, Doris, Lila, Norma, Emile, Earl, D’Arcy, Lois, Lomer, Elizabeth, Lloyd, Ronald, Kenneth and Barbara. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

By Gerry’s request Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the Byers Funeral Home, 2990 Church Street, South Mountain from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday January 5, 2018. A Memorial Mass will be held at the St. Daniel’s Catholic Church, South Mountain on Saturday January 6, 2018 at 11 a.m. By family request donations may be made to the Dundas County Hospice or the Nor-Dun Seniors Support Centre.
