Peter and I have great memories of George. Peter spent many hours with him on the golf course and on the ski hills. He was a great friend to our family.

I remember the first time David and I met George. We had just begun attending Kemptville CRC. The new renovations had just been completed. George was so spry and alive. He used to RUN up the stairs from the fellowship hall to the sanctuary. This would have been possibly 15 or so years ago. A memorable individual. Our deepest sympathies to your family. Cherish the memories of your Dad and grandfather. In years to come the memories will bring comfort, joy, and at times a good laugh. May God Bless all of you

Our condolences to the Smith family. I have many fond memories of “Grandpa George.” Both George and Lois had an impact on our family. Their love and kindness will not be forgotten.
One memory that stands out is that George convinced us that you could eat the mushrooms that we had in our backyard. He gathered them and proceeded to prepare steak with mushrooms. To this day, I still enjoy that dish.
Praying that God will surround you all with his presence during this time of loss. Also celebrating that he is now free of pain and praising God in heaven.

I have many fond memories of getting together with George and Lois over the years! We often got together when Lois was working part time at Kemptville Public School. I loved hearing him reminisce about some of the things that had happened and places they had travelled and lived when he was in the military. I loved George’s infectious sense of humour!
