Eleanor Catharine Melvin Nee Hunt

Peacefully after a brief illness at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Sunday December 21, 2014. Eleanor Melvin age 88 of Winchester. Beloved wife of the late Roy Ivan Melvin. Loving mother of Russell, Maureen (Gerald) Patterson, Richard (Susan), Leland, Kenneth, Donnalee (late Dennis) Liezert, Bill (Marlene), and Garry (Roxane). Cherished Grandma of Scott (Maggie), Michael (Diane), David, Lindsey, Caitlin, Tommy, Brittany, Brianne and great- grandson Drew. Dear sister of Marguerite, Leo (Theresa), Charlie (Ellen) Hunt and predeceased by Eileen Smythe, Jim, Leonard, and Francis Hunt.

By Eleanor’s request no visitation, Cremation with a private family graveside service to be held in the spring. By family request donations may be made to the Inkerman United Church or the Dundas Food Bank. Arrangements entrusted to the Byers Funeral Home, South Mountain, (613-989-3836).
