Peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Wednesday July 31, 2019. Ed Hooper age 78 of Chesterville. Dad of Andrew and Grandpa of Vala Rose. Loving brother of Audrey, Thelma, Joe, Richard and predeceased by Albert and Harold. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephew. By Ed’s request Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Nor-Dun Seniors’ Support Centre, 517A Albert Street, Winchester on Friday August 9, 2019 from 2 to 4 p.m. A Family Graveside Service will be held in New Brunswick at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in Memory of Ed may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to the Byers Funeral Home, South Mountain (613-989-3836)

RIP Ed. Thanks, for the memories my friend. You will be deeply missed. To the family of Ed’s please accept my deepest sympathies, he was a great man, May God Bless You all and be with you all during this most difficult time.

My deepest condolences. I’ve known Ed since I was a young teenager (my step dad worked with him at Eastern Ontario Pallets). He was a great guy.
