Dorothy Scott (Nee Davis) July 2, 1928 - October 11, 2016

Peacefully at the Kemptville District Hospital on Tuesday October11, 2016. Dorothy Scott age 88 of Mountain. Beloved wife of the late Edward Scott. Loving Mom of Doug (Lori), Linda Scott- O’ Reilly (Tom Rennick), and Karen (Marty) Kirchmeier. Cherished Nan of Brent, Erin, & Mark O’ Reilly; Alison ( Randy), Morgan (Bryce) & Mitchell (Amie) Scott; Dana (Billy), Scott (Aly) Kirchmeier and 12 great- grandchildren – Jordyn, Colby, Clark, Saige, Miller & Nash; Fianna, Ellie, & Breck; Karson, Harrison & Kylie. Dear sister of Marjorie Beaudoin & sister- in- law of Mabel & Betty; and predeceased by Ken (Olive), Alice (Clarence), John (Kay), Douglas, Ethel (Ray), Ruby (Sid) and Allen. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and also by the Sloan Family.

By Dorothy’s request Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at the Heckston United Church, 256 South Gower Drive, Kemptville on Tuesday October 18, 2016 at 11 am. Private Interment to be held at South Gower Cemetery. By family request donations may be made to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital or the Heckston United Church or the Bayfield Manor Auxiliary.     To the Scott Family I remember these wonderful people as we practically grew up together at Bedell a railroad community where everyone lived and helped each other. Rest in Peace Sister and the day is just around the corner for a Glorious home coming

    My condolences to the Scott family. Dorothy was a one of a kind lady with a fun loving sense of humour who sure will be missed. She is probably catching up right now with Grandma Grant

    On behalf of John Blom, Beryl Allport, Wendy, Janet, & Karen, our deepest condolences at your loss. Dorothy was a character and there were many years of interaction between our families in our younger years through Dad’s butcher business. Now we have the pleasure of knowing Karen & Marty and seeing how big Dorothy’s family has grown and how close they are as friends and relatives. So much to be proud of, a wonderful legacy.
