Donald Sproule Hanes

Peacefully at Dundas Manor on Saturday December 21, 2019. Donald Hanes in his 94^th year. Beloved son of the late John Hanes and Sadie (nee Beckstead). Donald will be fondly remembered by his family at Dundas Manor. Donald called the Manor home for the last 11 years.  Donald had many friends and folks who looked out for him over the years, including Community Living, Donna, Bob and Wendy.

Donald was a farmer at heart and often asked to fire up the old tractor to haul in wood from the bush, and he always had a tear in his eye when the horses visited our home or he saw them at Upper Canada Village on an outing.  His gentle warm personality will be missed.

Cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held in the Spring at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Mariatown. Online condolences may be made at www.byersfuneralhomeinc.ca
