One of the best contractors I ever worked for, both to his customers and workers.Don would call a meeting of his sub contractors,Chuck Como for plumbing, Bill Faith for wiring, and myself for heating after the house was framed and show up an hour later by the time we had our work sorted and the job went as planed.Old school. December 10, 2019 at 2:18 pmGreg, Linda & Larry and the family, our deepest sympathy to family.
Some of the fondest memories were hanging out at the “Hallville General Store” with the gang for hours with no worries in the world and the many sounds of laughter/chatter coming from the “blue room” with the imaginary “mayor” when Don would visit my dad to discuss what was best for Hallville.
Rest in peace, Paul and Darlene Simms

December 11, 2019 at 9:12 amLinda, Greg, Larry and families,
We extend our condolences during this difficult time. Many fond memories of visits with Don. Randy was telling me he got his first pay cheque from Don as a kid who helped clean up a job site. He said Don told him to slow down or he would make Victor look bad. Lol. These really are the cherishable memories.
Sincerely,
