Denzel Earl Crowder May 11, 1931 - October 22, 2017

Former Inkerman Rocket

Suddenly at home on Sunday October 22, 2017, Denzel Crowder age 86 of Winchester. He played hockey with the Inkerman Rockets and in Edinburgh, Scotland where he met his beloved wife of 63 years Constance (Dingwall) Crowder. Loving Dad of Douglas of Winchester and the late Donald Crowder. Predeceased by his siblings Ada Baldwin and Gordon Crowder. Dearest uncle of many nieces and nephews.

By Denzel’s request Cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held at the Byers Funeral Home, 2990 Church Street, South Mountain (613-989-3836) on Thursday October 26, 2017 at 1 p.m. followed be a Memorial Service in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment Knights Cemetery. In Memory of Denzel donations may be made to the Ottawa Humane Society or the Winchester United Church Building Fund.
