David Richard McInnes March 24, 1954 - June 22, 2015

Peacefully at home on Monday June 22, 2015. Dave McInnes age 61 of South Mountain. Beloved husband of Connie Crowder. Loving Dad of David (Kristel), Michael (Liz) and the late William. Cherished Papa of Jhonus, Corbin Butler and Nevida Arcand. Dearly loved son of Marion McInnes ( late James) and son-in-law of Sheila Crowder ( late Keith). Dear brother of Denise Edwards (John), Dennis, Wendy Desjardins (Graham), Shelley Roles (late Brian), Diana Deschambault (Joe) and Sandra Roode (Danny). Brother-in-law of Carol Heymans (John), Cindy Glennon (Jason) and Cheryl Brammall (late Mark). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 10428 County Road #3, Mountain (David & Kristel’s residence) at 11 a.m. everyone welcome. Inurnment of David & his son William will follow at South Gower Cemetery . For those wishing to pay their respect a reception will follow. By family request donations may be made to the Dundas County Hospice, the Canadian Cancer Society, the Winchester District Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Charity of Your Choice.     Connie, David, Michael and family – My condolences to all of you. The only thing that brings comfort in all of this is that David and William are now together. You have all had a tremendous amount of loss in your life but yet you continue to laugh, make difficult decisions together and move through each day with incredible strength. Love to you all.     David will truly be missed by both of us. We are so thankful that we got to visit him last week. He was such a courageous fighter to the end.
