David Harold Plant May 20, 1942 - December 8, 2019

Peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Sunday December 8, 2019. David Plant age 77 of Kemptville. Beloved husband of the late Sharon (nee Nussey).  Loving Dad of Andrew (Tracey), Matthew (Violeta) and Christopher. Cherished Grandpa of Aidan, Maya and Josie.

Predeceased by his parents Harold & Myrtle (Connors) & his brothers John, Dennis and Bob Plant.  Survived by his sister Beverly Hogan.

David was a wonderful principal but ever the teacher.  David was a multi-sport athlete in his youth, in particular baseball and ice hockey goalie. He also enjoyed coaching hockey in Kemptville and was a fan of harness racing.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Dundas Manor, for your care and compassion.

By David’s request Cremation has taken place. A Graveside Committal Service will be held in the spring at South Gower Cemetery

Donations in memory of David may be made to the Dundas Manor Activity Fund.  Arrangements entrusted to the Byers Funeral Home, South Mountain (613-989-3836). Memories and condolences may be shared with the family by visiting www.byersfuneralhomeinc.ca
