May 27, 2014 at 12:00 amI had the honour of working with Darlene as one of the many 4h webmasters she trained and supported over the years. Ever patient, always encouraging, she was wonderful. My life has been enriched by her friendship. The world is a dimmer without her light.

May 28, 2014 at 12:00 amDear Norm and family, our sincere sympathy for the loss of your wife and mother. Darlene was a very special person. She was a long time friend and we shared many happy memories. I considered her one of my best friends. Whenever I asked how things were she would always reply God is good. She and I would share advice about our children, our struggles and our joys. We were complete opposites- she liked the country-I the city-she was a morning person- I a night hawk-yet we were connected. We shared something special. She was able to live her dream on the farm and she raised a very close knit family that loved her dearly. She always had time to talk. We were not able to see each other much but we kept in touch by phone. Distance did not matter we were still friends. She will be sorely missed,

May 29, 2014 at 12:00 amI am still in shock. For the past few days I keep playing over all the good memories we made together. I can only imagine how hard it is to say goodbye. I want you to know we are with you in spirit if not in person for the service. Darlene will be missed but never forgotten. God bless.
