Clynton Michael Joseph O’Connor December 10, 1947 - July 30, 2023

Date of Funeral

August 8, 2023

On July 30th at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital at the age of 75, Clynton Michael Joseph O’Connor finished the race of life and crossed over the finish line into glory to live in the presence of his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Clint is survived by his wife Cathy O’Connor (Heymans) as well as his three children, Clint Jr (Megan), Samantha, and Eric (Katie) as well as his one grandchild, Shayla. He was born on December 10, 1947 and raised in the town of Low, Quebec, raised by his parents Bernard and Leona (Cuddihey) O’Connor along with older sister Anne Plunkett (Cyrus) and three brothers Lorne, Vince (Pam) and Tom (Brenda). Loved by Harry and Mary (Coppens) Heymans and Martina Heymans as well as Gerry (Rita), Andre, John (Carol), and Nick Heymans and the many nieces and nephews. Clint was a man who taught that good manners and hard work goes a long way and lived every day trying to put a smile on the faces of the people he interacted with. In the words of Clint himself, “Keep your stick on the ice.” A visitation will be held on Tuesday August 8, 2023 at the Inkerman Wesleyan Church 11486 Queen Street from 10 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Donations in Memory of Clynton may be made to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital or the Osgoode Care Centre. So sad to hear that Clynt has passed. He was a warm & welcoming face at the door of APOC for a long time. I never saw him in a bad mood. He always had a kind word or a quick-witted comment to share.
Be at peace Clynt – the world was a better place for having had you in it.

I was so saddened to hear about Clint’s passing. In the many years he worked with us at Abbott, we got to know each other so well! He always met people with a smile and took the time to have a conversation to make sure all was well with us. He was a great man and I’m so sorry for you loss!

So very sorry to hear of Clynt’s passing. Clynt took a genuine interest in people and made a positive difference at Abbott. The friendly chats near the door were a bright spot for many of us. He went above and beyond…….when working late, I would get a call letting me know that the (nearest) South door was about to be locked up. Over time, he saved me miles of walking! The world needs more people like Clynt. My condolences to family and friends.
