It is with the greatest sadness that we share Charlotte’s passing. Deeply loved wife of Coryn Hayman. Beloved daughter of Connie Coughler and the late Tommy Coughler. Cherished sister of Jack (Tasha) and Brandy (Dan) and sister-in-law of Patrick (Sahereh). Proud aunt of Kian, Shyan, Parker, Olivia and Emily. Much loved daughter-in-law of Susan Calder. Charlotte will be especially missed by her extended family, friends and colleagues. Her beautiful, gentle, compassionate, loving heart touched lives and helped others in significant ways when needed most. She was generous and intentional in sharing herself in a sacrificial and meaningful way. A precious gift not only to all she cared for in her career but to everyone who knew and so easily loved her. Charlotte loved to travel and enjoy fine food. She appreciated the opera and the occasional silly cat video. She enjoyed flower arranging, painting and pottery. Charlotte was passionate about nursing, working hard to obtain her PSW, RPN and RN certifications. She was especially passionate about working in the field of mental health. In 2019, she married the love of her life, Coryn Hayman. She had an amazing strength, which allowed her to overcome so many challenges along the way to achieving her goals. She has inspired many to believe in themselves, the way she believed in them. Please help us carry on her legacy through loving acts of kindness. Goodbye for now our sweet girl and know that you live on with us. For those who wish, a donation to CAMH – Centre for Addiction and Mental Health Foundation would be appreciated by the family. A visitation will be held at the Byers Funeral Home 2990 Church Street, South Mountain on Thursday February 13, 2020 from 7 to 9 p.m. and from 10 a.m. until time of Memorial Service Friday February 14, 2020 in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Online condolences may be made at www.byersfuneralhomeinc.ca

February 13, 2020 at 10:56 pmTo your family Charlotte
I am so deeply and profoundly saddened to hear today of Charlotte’s passing.
Charlotte and I met only a few years ago, but I feel like we shared a lifetime’s worth in our journey. Like Charlotte, I too am a nurse and have worked in many of the same areas – in particular we shared a passion for working with those who struggled with addiction.
I will miss her and our 4 hour conversations in the wee hours of the morning. But she will always remain in my heart and continuously remind me to take chances, be vulnerable and tell the people I love that I do – today.
RIP my beautiful friend. I love you
XO. Mindy

February 9, 2020 at 11:09 pmConnie,
My most sincere condolence to you. You had the most beautiful daughter ever. She was my mother’s caregiver and best friend. My mother loved her like a daughter. There are angels among us and I truly believe she was one. Charlotte was so happy to have just recently found me on Facebook and expressed her caring loving self.. I will quote what she said to me, “Miss your mum on a regular basis. She changed my life and facilitated my RN career. Such a special lady. I’m so grateful for the pics I have of her.” she also expressed of condolence for the loss of my son. It was so nice of her to reach out, this is the person she was. I told her Mom would be proud of you, she loved you like her own daughter…Mom will greet you with open arms and Tyler as well. You really were like a sister and thank you for everything you did for mom and me through all our hardship. God bless and rest in peace Charlotte. Connie you had the most exceptional daughter…she will be remembered for ever. My love and strength to you. XOXO.

Stories of travel, fine food, wedding preparations , career opportunities ……..we heard how much she loved their beloved cat.
