November 12, 2024 at 1:43 pmI had the honour and privilege of providing veterinary services for Bonnie’s animals during my entire career. She was the perfect client. Her love and admiration for her animals was obvious, and she cared for them as best she could.
When I was a veterinary student I worked for 2 summers for Eastern Breeders as an artificial insemination technician. If your breeding slips were not done correctly and legibly, you would get a stern call from Bonnie during which you would be very clearly and earnestly told to pick up your game. You never wanted to get a second call from Bonnie.
When I got into veterinary practice and put a face to the name, and witnessed what a truly amazing and kind (but very stern) person she was, it was a revelation. Rest in peace Bonnie. I will truly miss you!!

November 12, 2024 at 6:38 pmWhat a woman! I’ll always remember my “big sister” keeping me safe in my younger years, Bonnie definitely danced to her own fiddler, she will always be remembered for her humour, bluntness and kindness…….
Miss her Already….

November 14, 2024 at 10:13 pmI was really sorry to hear of Bonnie’s passing. We haven’t been in touch for many years but there are times when I am back in the Kemptville area, that I remember the nights of cruising the main street and the many laughs we had. Bonnie could take and hand out a good ribbing. My thoughts are with the family during this sad time.
