Peacefully at the Kemptville District Hospital, on June 3, 2024, John “Barry” Wilson of Kemptville, at age 83. Beloved husband of the late June Wilson (Bertrand).
Loving Father to Valerie Wilson- Gilchrist (Kevin) and Dennis (late Kim). Cherished “Poppa” to Cody (Lindsey), Chelsea, Travis, Trent, Cory (Adrienne), Krystal (Tim), Jonathan(Samantha), Jessica (Mathieu), Dennis (Candice), Michelle, Wayne (Jamie) and Lillie (Justin). Great Grandfather to Mckenna, Brantley, Tieg and Clyde.
Predeceased by his Parents Clifford and Grace, his brothers Howard (Joyce), Keith (Isabel), Harvey and sister Leona (Irvin), brother-in-law Pete and sister-in-law Marion (Winston). Survived by in laws Leona (Late Dave), Gerry (late Hilda), Paul (Rose), Gordie and Alice (Marcel).
Barry is fondly remembered by nieces, nephews and extended family.
At Barry’s request Cremation has taken place with a Graveside service at a later date. Donations in his honor can be made to KDH Foundation CT Scanner Campaign or the Spencerville TNR Cat Rescue.
