Peacefully at the Bayfield Manor on Thursday November 11, 2021.Toni Meerakker age 97 of South Mountain. Beloved wife of the late Piet Meerakker. Loving mother of Anna (Bert) Smail, Willemine (Tom) Swartz, Ada (Glenn) Gorrie, late Gil, Tony (Elizabeth), Willy (Mary), and Irene (Mark) Honeywell. Cherished Oma of 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Trees and predeceased by Piet, Frans, Jo, Antoon and Petra. A Private Funeral Mass and Burial will be held at St. Daniels Catholic Church, South Mountain. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Mountain Township Agricultural Hall 2967 Lough Road, South Mountain on Friday November 26, 2021 from 1 to 4 p.m. Covid Restrictions: masks must be worn and the family have asked for attendance Proof of Vaccination is required. Please pre-register by calling Byers Funeral Home, South Mountain during business hours at 613-989-3836.
