I was so saddened to hear of Annie’s passing. Although I have’t seen her since my trip home to Ottawa several years ago, we kept in touch at Christmas. I always enjoyed her cards updating me on her family whom she loved so dearly. We were so happy that she and Uncle Ralph were able to share those precious years together at that point in their lives and wish it could have been longer. She was such a strong and courageous woman with a sweet and gentle soul. We will miss her dearly but take comfort knowing that she is resting in the arms of the Lord.

My thoughts and prayers are with you now my dears.

Annie lived a long and spiritual life but she was loved for a long time which makes the loss of your Mother so painful. She was our last link to our parents and their generation. Annie’s love and kindness to my sisters and I lit a candle in my heart after my Mother died. She never forgot us as the years went by. I always looked forward to her Christmas cards each year. My sister Judy always kept me updated too with pictures and news about Annie. I will miss her.❣
