Adriana Theodora Spruit (Nee Verkleij) September 10, 1928 - May 14, 2017

Peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Sunday May 14, 2017. Adriana Spruit in her 89th year of Mountain. Beloved wife of John. Loving Mom of Jane (Lyall) Levere, Betty Spruit (Darren Fleury), late Neil, Maggie Spruit, Joe (Kathryn), Marie Spruit, Henry (late Diane Seguin), Tony (Shelley) and Johnny (Brandi). Cherished Oma and Grandma of 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and the late Conner. Survived by many sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law in the Netherlands and U.S. and a sister-in-law Mary Vanderlaan (late Leonard) of Winchester.

A Memorial Visitation will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Hall, Chesterville on Thursday May 18, 2017 from 10 a.m. until time of Memorial Mass at 12 noon. By Family request donations may be made to the Dundas Manor Activity Fund or the St. Mary’s Catholic Church Building Fund.     Betty, I’m so sorry for your loss. You were such a blessing and comfort to my mom at the end of her life that I know your mom was very blessed to have you as one of her daughters. Your mom was well loved by a large family here.

I HAVE BEEN OFF WORK WAITING FOR SURGERY I WAS A PSW AT DUNDAS MANOR AND TOOK CARE OF ADRIANA WITH LOVE AND PRIDE SHE ALWAYS HAD A SMILE AND HUGS AND KISSES ALWAYS CALLED HER MAMA. JOHN GOD BLESS YOU AND FAMILY DURING THIS TRYING TIME OF YOUR LIVES.
