In 1992, Lyle and Gloria Byers purchased a property in South Mountain where they envisioned Byers Funeral Home. Gloria and her daughter, Victoria, decided to incorporate the business, Byers Funeral Home Inc., which opened in April, 1993.

Meet Victoria Byers
Victoria Byers
Owner, Operator, Funeral Director (License #201768, Funeral Director Class 1 – Embalming)
Victoria was raised on a family farm in Chesterville. She graduated from Humber College in 1989, and has been a licensed funeral director for more than 25 years.
She is the proud mother of two grown daughters, Chloe and Halee.
She enjoys antiques, and is proud to serve this rural community.
Our Facilities
Byers Funeral Home is fully wheelchair accessible. We offer a spacious viewing room, which can be converted into a chapel that can seat 90 comfortably.
Our foyer features a Smart TV, ideal for slideshows, and a Bose sound system. We also offer free Wifi and ample free parking.
