Peacefully at Southbridge, Kemptville on Thursday April 3, 2025. Marjorie McDermid age 92 of Mountain, ON. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth McDermid. Loving Mom of Neil (Ann), Brenda Bryan (Doug), late Karen Armstrong (late Dave), late Eric (Mary), Lana LeClair (Jeff), Donna Willows (Richard), and Robert (Sherrie). Cherished Grandma of Quinn, Kyle, Andrea, Kevin, Melissa, Joshua, Ryan, Tyler, Jennifer, Robert, Jessica, Katelyn, Amy, Ryan, Christopher, Patrick, Alison, Cassandra, late Joel and Mathew, and many great-grandchildren.

Dear sister of Doris Clemens and predeceased by her siblings Ann Chalmers, Irene Farnand, Rupert, Nelson, Desmond and Clifford Burke. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Marjorie will rest at the Byers Funeral Home (2990 Church Street South Mountain 613-989-3836) at which a wake will be held on Sunday April 6, 2025, from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Visitation will also be held on Monday April 7, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.  A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Daniels Catholic Church (2985 Church Street, South Mountain) at 11 a.m. and a luncheon at the Mountain Township Agricultural Hall immediately afterwards; everyone is welcome. A private interment will take place at Saint John, The Evangelist Cemetery in Enniskerry at a later date. By family request donations in Memory of Marjorie may be made to The Ottawa Heart Institute.
